New Year Celeberations

It seems like it has been years since I last blogged. I have been kept busy for the past five months or so with my work, even in weekends. When I thought about what to blog this time, two things struck me. Am blogging the first thought here. The next will follow soon.

The first is on new year celeberations.

An incident that recently annoyed me is the new year celeberations. Of all the things that I hate, celeberating needlessly by disburbing others is the thing that I hate most. Why this hullabullo about new year in the past few years? What does one achieve by dancing to ear tearing music and boozing on a new years eve? In my opinion dancing to such jarring music makes one restless and lose the peace of mind rather than what everyone calls as "It makes us relax from tension". The booze and the music makes one more tensed and go out of control. The result is incidents like the ones happened in Gateway of India.

What is even more disturbing is the way media projects these kind of celeberations as the best way of celeberation. If police does a raid on night clubs to curb these kind of untoward incidents the media jumps up and down saying that moral policing should not be done. And when untoward incidents like the one in Mumbai happen its the same media that bashes the police. All they need is some news so that they can turn into controversy and make money.

Its always better to celeberate with your family at home and enjoy a quiet evening. That to me is a better relaxation than jumping and dancing with starangers. The indian urban public who seek the so called relaxation will realise this only when they experience something untoward personally.

The next blog will be a rather lighter one. Am going to put my experiences on how to spend a whole weekend totally vetti.

This is just my personal view. What am seeing more is that in the name of having fun the kind of celeberations we have is creating only disturbance. Your fun should be limited to yourself only but shouldnt affect others. I want to sleep peacefully on that day. But every neighbourhood blasts music like anything. I mean who gives them the right to disturb others?

Yes I strongly agree with sridhar. If at all that brings them happiness by doing ___ why not that is done on every day.It is not done because it does not really give true happiness. It makes our mind unstable...

In my view a person in a state which includes full enthu, alertness and the courage to do anything is the happy state.

By the said(what acually is happening now)activity, we are thrown toa state back from which the recovery is not possible.

The whole system is out Control, unstable and thus will not enjoy happiness
